About us
MJS Joinery Ltd is a joinery subcontractor based in Knowsley, working across the North West of England, delivering bespoke joinery and carpentry on residential & commercial projects. We're a friendly, close-knit team known for quality workmanship and reliability on site.
About the role
We're looking for an organised, personable Office Administrator to keep our Knowsley office running smoothly and support our site teams day to day. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, suppliers and subcontractors, and a key link between the office and our projects on site across the North West.

What you'll be doing
- Answering calls and emails, and dealing with general office enquiries
- Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers on materials and fixings
- Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices
- Keeping site programmes, diaries and job files up to date
- Preparing and filing RAMS, variation orders and other project paperwork
- Supporting quotes, tenders and client correspondence
- General administrative support to the directors and site managers
What we're looking for
- Previous office administration experience (construction or trades background helpful but not essential)
- Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Well organised, with a good eye for detail
- Clear communicator, comfortable dealing with clients, suppliers and tradespeople
- Able to prioritise and keep several jobs moving at once
- Own transport helpful given our sites are spread across the North West
