PRP is the UK’s largest provider of professional role players, with almost 30 years’ experience delivering role play for healthcare, education, assessment and professional training organisations across the UK. We are a friendly, family-run business with a nationwide network of thousands of professional role players. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptionally high standard of service to both our clients and role players.
The Role
We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and approachable Office Administrator to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, confident communicating with people, comfortable working in a busy environment and, most importantly, takes pride in doing things properly.
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Office Administrator will work closely with our Project Managers and wider Operations Team, providing administrative support for the successful delivery of client projects.
A key part of the position will be supporting the recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing compliance of PRP's nationwide network of role players.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking daily confirmations from role players and accurately updating our database
- Carrying out role player availability checks to support Project Managers with upcoming bookings
- Working closely with Project Managers to provide administrative support across client projects
- Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new role players
- Coordinating and administering BPSS pre-employment checks and ensuring the required documentation is obtained and recorded
- Supporting other role player screening and compliance requirements
- Monitoring completion and renewal of required role player training
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date role player profiles, training records and compliance information
- Following up with role players where documentation, screening or training requirements are outstanding
- Supporting the administration of PRP's role player training programme
- Maintaining accurate information across PRP's bespoke database and internal systems
- Responding to role player queries by telephone and email
- Supporting the Operations Team with day-to-day administration
- Helping to ensure internal processes, deadlines and compliance requirements are followed
- General office administration and organisation

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Is confident managing records, documentation and administrative processes
- Is able to manage several tasks at once and prioritise effectively
- Is comfortable following processes and ensuring required information is complete and accurate
- Is confident and professional when communicating by telephone and email
- Is friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people
- Takes ownership of their work and follows tasks through to completion
- Is comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment
- Uses their own initiative and is confident solving day-to-day problems
- Has strong IT skills and is comfortable learning new systems
- Is a quick learner who can understand new processes quickly
- Works well as part of a close-knit team
- Has a positive, practical and proactive approach to work

Previous experience within an administrative role is required. Experience of recruitment, onboarding, compliance or pre-employment screening would be advantageous, but full training on PRP's processes will be provided.
Working at PRP
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team where everyone plays a part in delivering an excellent service.
We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about the quality of their work and who will become a trusted and valued member of the PRP team.
Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 (35 hours per week, with a one-hour lunch)
Salary: £27,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Enfield / Hybrid
