Position: Office Administrator

Location: New Mills Office

Salary: Competitive Salary of between £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience

Hours: Full Time - Weekdays - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

No formal qualifications required, although previous administration experience and relevant business administration qualifications would be advantageous.

Job Description:

We are looking to recruit an Office Administrator to support fee earners and other members of staff in their work and to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our busy law firm. This is a varied role that combines reception duties, administration, client care and office support.

Some of the main duties will include:

  • Receiving and channelling incoming telephone calls and taking messages
  • Making appointments for clients and assisting with diary maintenance
  • Dealing with straightforward enquiries from clients and third parties
  • Providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for clients and visitors
  • Providing refreshments for clients and visitors when attending the office
  • Ensuring the reception area and meeting rooms are kept presentable and organised
  • Receiving, sorting and dispatching Royal Mail post and courier deliveries
  • Audio and copy typing, document formatting and assisting with document preparation
  • Creating and maintaining records on the firm’s case management system
  • Assisting with photocopying, scanning and electronic filing of documents
  • Managing office supplies, stationery, refreshments and general office purchasing
  • Maintaining records relating to archived client matter files, Wills and Deeds
  • Supporting Partners and staff with general administrative duties as required
