Office Administrator Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to join a well-established independent estate agency with a strong presence in the local residential property market.

As an Office Administrator, working across both Sales and Lettings, you will provide essential administrative support to the branch and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

This role offers a salary range of A GBP 28,000 - A GBP 32,000 (DOE) and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate property and client records.
  • Preparing property particulars, brochures, listings, and related documentation.
  • Updating property portals and internal databases.
  • Coordinating appointments, viewings, and meetings.
  • Supporting sales and lettings administration from instruction through to completion or move-in.
  • Preparing tenancy and property-related documentation.
  • Liaising with vendors, landlords, buyers, tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries professionally.
  • Monitoring correspondence, responding promptly, and following up on outstanding actions.
  • Supporting compliance by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and paperwork.
  • Assisting with invoicing, expenses, and general office administration.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previously worked as an Office Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Experience in estate agencies, property offices would be beneficial, although strong administration experience within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment will also be considered.
  • Understanding of sales and/or lettings processes, property portals, and estate agency systems would be preferred.
  • Skilled in IT with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
