About Walcon Marine
Walcon Marine has been designing, manufacturing and building yacht marinas and pontoon systems for more than 60 years.
From our headquarters in Fareham, we work on projects throughout the UK and internationally, delivering practical engineering solutions for marina operators, waterfront developments and yacht harbours.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and reliable Office Administrator to become an important part of our team. This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day running of the business and helping colleagues deliver marina projects across the UK and overseas.
If you enjoy being organised, taking ownership and making sure things run smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
You'll become a key member of our office team, supporting colleagues across the business and helping ensure our projects and operations run efficiently.
Every day is different. One day you may be arranging travel for site teams, preparing documents or coordinating meetings. Another day you might be helping organise an exhibition, welcoming visitors or supporting company communications.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
