Kennedy Roofing & Co Ltd is a professional roofing company based in York, serving residential and commercial customers across the area.
We're Hiring – Office Administrator / Marketing Assistant
Location:
York City Centre
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary:
Negotiable, depending on experience
Kennedy Roofing is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person to join our small, friendly team at our York city centre office.
This is a varied office-based role that's perfect for someone who enjoys being organised, taking the initiative and getting involved in different aspects of the business. No two days are the same!

Your role will include:
- Answering telephone enquiries and speaking with customers
- General office administration
- Research and data management
- Updating and maintaining databases
- Assisting with marketing and social media
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the business
- Helping the team wherever needed
We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Ideally have 5+ years' experience in the construction industry (preferred but not essential for the right person)
- Are confident using computers and Microsoft Office
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Are proactive, reliable and eager to learn
- Can work well independently as well as part of a team
- Enjoy variety and taking ownership of your work
