Millfield Prep School is seeking a well-organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our busy General Office team on a fixed term basis covering maternity leave. This varied role includes managing the school's transport processes, liaising with departments, and providing wider administrative support across the school.
This is a fixed term position from September 2026 until 2nd July 2027 working 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday during term time and 9.00am-3.00pm Monday to Friday for 4 weeks during non-term time. The salary for this position is £18,245.97 per annum (inclusive of holiday pay).

Key duties include:
- Maintaining pupil records and registers
- Supporting the school calendar and events
- Covering reception
- Assisting with reports and meetings
- Ensuring effective communication with parents through our systems
- Handling post
- Ordering supplies
- Supporting colleagues across departments
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence with Microsoft Excel
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work as part of a team
