Office Administrator
Nottingham | Full Time On-Site | £25,000-£28,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Are you ready to play a key role in a fast-growing, cutting-edge company that's helping to make the world a better place? We're looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to keep our office running smoothly as we scale the technology helping to decarbonise the planet.
Promethean Particles is developing advanced materials that are helping tackle some of the world's biggest sustainability challenges, from carbon capture to clean energy. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Office Administrator to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our Nottingham office.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors, support colleagues across the business, coordinate company events and meetings, manage key administrative processes and help maintain a positive employee experience.
No two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of the business and being the person everyone relies on.

- Being the first point of contact for visitors, customers and suppliers.
- Managing reception, incoming calls, post and deliveries.
- Coordinating meeting rooms, refreshments and company events.
- Ordering office supplies and liaising with facilities providers.
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the CEO and wider leadership team.
- Coordinating travel, meetings and diaries where required.
- Supporting Board meetings with logistics, minutes and action tracking.
- Maintaining company records and IT asset information.
- Supporting Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and other office systems.
- Helping create a positive experience for employees and visitors alike.
About you
You'll probably have:
- Previous experience in an Office Administrator, Office Coordinator, Executive Assistant or similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good Microsoft 365 skills.
- The confidence to work independently and use your own initiative.

You must have full and unrestricted authorisation to work in the UK (not student / graduate visa) as sponsorship is not available for this role.
Experience supporting senior leaders, coordinating facilities, or working within a manufacturing, engineering or technology business would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
