Office Administrator (SC Clearance)
Location: Cheltenham (Office-based Monday to Thursday, Friday from home)
Salary: Up to £25,000
Start Date: ASAP
Clearance: SC clearance required for this role - DV Clearance might be required in the future
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to support our Defence client. This is a varied position combining front-of-house, office administration, and facilities management responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and thrives in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, suppliers, and contractors
- Managing incoming calls, deliveries, and office correspondence
- Coordinating office supplies, equipment maintenance, and supplier relationships
- Supporting internal events and general business administration
- Processing expenses and raising purchase orders
- Managing company vehicle servicing and compliance requirements
- Assisting with health, safety, and facilities administration
- Maintaining facilities documentation and SharePoint records
- Providing administrative support across the wider business as required

About You
- Previous administration experience is desirable
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including SharePoint
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to prioritise workload effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Flexible team player with a positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence required
- SC clearance held or eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance / DV might be required in the future as your career will develop
