Office Administrator/Receptionist, Gordon Timber - Nairn

  • Salary range: From £28,500 a year
  • Working hours: Full Time
  • Location: Nairn

Company Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a General Administrator. The successful candidate will support both our finance and Harvesting teams’ general administration/Reception as well as contribute to the smooth running of daily operations.

You will be proactive and eager to learn, reliable and adaptive in order to thrive in our friendly but fast paced environment. Previous experience in an office environment is essential. Any previous work or voluntary experience in finance would be advantageous.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Educated to SCQF Level 5 i.e. National 5 or equivalent
  • A National Certificate or HNC in a relevant discipline is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of finance concepts is essential.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality, particularly in handling sensitive information.
