Office Administrator

Location: Oxfordshire
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £26,000–£36,000 per year, depending on experience

About Beckwood

Beckwood is an Oxfordshire based building contractor specialising in high quality residential construction, including bespoke new-build homes, major renovations and listed buildings. We work on some fantastic properties across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas, often working closely with architects, designers and specialist trades to deliver individual, high-quality homes.

As the business continues to grow, we are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team and help with the day to day running of the company. This isn't a large corporate office environment. We are a close knit team, and we're looking for someone who enjoys getting involved, is naturally organised and is happy to take ownership of the things that keep a busy construction company running smoothly.

The Role

The main focus of the role will be providing administrative support across the business and helping to keep our office and projects organised. No two days are likely to be exactly the same. One day you might be preparing documents for a new project, organising meetings and dealing with general enquiries; another you might be helping organise a client event, updating project information or supporting our marketing team with content from one of our live construction sites.

You don't need previous construction experience, although it would certainly be useful. More importantly, we're looking for someone who is organised, confident, reliable and keen to become an important part of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Previous office or administration experience would be beneficial, but we are also open to candidates earlier in their career who can demonstrate the right attitude, organisation and communication skills. Experience within construction, architecture, property or a similar industry would be useful but is not essential.

Why Join Beckwood?

We're a growing business, but we want to retain the close-knit and straightforward way we work. You'll be joining at an exciting time for the company and will have the opportunity to make the role your own as the business develops.

You'll work alongside the directors, management team and our marketing team, with exposure to some exceptional residential construction projects across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas. Applying

Please apply with your CV and a short introduction telling us a little about yourself and why you think you'd be a good fit for Beckwood.

We are more interested in finding the right person for the team than someone who ticks every box, so if the role sounds like something you'd enjoy, we'd be pleased to hear from you.
