A leading UK law firm is looking for an Office and Facilities Assistant to support the smooth running of its Bristol office, providing first-class internal and external customer service alongside facilities and office administration.

This is a varied role in a friendly, corporate environment, with plenty of scope to learn and grow.

What you'll do:

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, scanning, photocopying and document production, including binding and laminating
  • Manage stationery, IT consumables and office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained
  • Support new starters and leavers with workspace, equipment and office set-up requirements
  • Maintain meeting rooms, client areas and office facilities, including AV set-up and catering support
  • Provide a professional front-of-house service, covering reception, visitors and events as required
  • Liaise with contractors, engineers and service providers, supporting the smooth running of office operations
  • Support health and safety compliance, including Fire Warden and First Aid responsibilities where required
  • Travel occasionally to support other office locations and undertake additional duties as requested by the Office Manager

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working in general office, business support, facilities, customer service or front of house environments
  • A highly professional, positive and proactive approach, with pride in delivering high standards of service
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work flexibly and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Good IT literacy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • An interest in workplace operations, facilities management and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices (desirable)
  • Able to work 36.25 hours per week on a shift pattern between 08:00 and 18:00
