Office & Facilities Lead – GalGael, Glasgow

Salary: £17,000 – £19,000 pro-rata (FTE £28,300 – £31,600), depending on experience. Real Living Wage compliant.

Hours: 22.5 hrs/week (Tues-Thurs)

About Us

GalGael is a small community organisation creating the conditions for people from marginalised communities to reclaim health and agency through working with their hands – woodwork, growing, crafting, cooking, and boat repair. We wrestle with work that stretches us - and we need someone to keep our operations running smoothly, so our team and community can thrive.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Office & Facilities Lead to join our small, self-managed team. You'll be the operational backbone of the organisation – take care of day-to-day office administration, including managing supplies, handling correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating schedules and meetings. You'll handle compliance (including PVG), liaise with contractors, and provide admin backbone for our Making Just Futures project.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
