Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Office Assistant role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. The Office Assistant will support daily front-office operations, including:
- Greeting patients
- Managing check-in and check-out processes
- Handling phone calls and appointment scheduling

Responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Organizing and maintaining records
- Preparing and processing forms
- Operating office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines
- Coordinating with clinical staff
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Ensuring the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming
The successful candidate will help maintain a smooth, patient-focused environment that supports the delivery of high-quality medical care.
Qualifications
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients and colleagues.
- Administrative assistance and clerical skills, including data entry, filing, scheduling, and document management.
- Experience using office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service mindset with a calm, empathetic approach to patient interactions.
- Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets); experience with medical or practice management systems is an advantage.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred but not required; relevant office or customer service experience is beneficial.
