WE’RE HIRING – Despatch / Transport Office Assistant (Perm) £13.50 p/h
📍 Antrim 🕙 Monday–Friday | 10am–6pm 📄 Permanent | Full-Time
We are recruiting for a Despatch / Transport Office Assistant to join a busy manufacturing environment in Antrim.
This is a varied role combining transport/despatch administration with practical duties on the factory floor, supporting the day-to-day organisation of deliveries and shipments.
The role will include:
- Organising and coordinating deliveries
- General despatch and transport administration
- Preparing and checking goods for despatch
- Using IT systems to maintain delivery records and documentation
- Liaising with production teams to ensure orders are ready on time
- Assisting with practical/manual duties within the despatch area
- Driving company vehicles when required

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a transport or despatch environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Full UK driving licence
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to assist with hands-on duties when required

Desirable:
- Forklift experience
- Pallet truck experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
