Hiring Unit:
Internships & Student Affairs Office

Position Summary:
This is a Work study position. Only McGill University students who are currently enrolled in a program (excluding Faculty of Education program) are eligible to apply. Applicants must be Work Study Program eligible.

Primary Duties

  • Attending to the front desk, giving information to visitors, and directing them as required
  • Answering e-mails and phone calls in a timely & professional manner
  • Following up with different parties by email.
  • Organizing digital files.
  • General clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, shredding, etc.
  • Assisting with special events and projects during the course of normal working hours.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good knowledge of McGill's campus, services and resources.
  • Ability to be focused and flexible, and work in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work in a PC environment.
  • Basic web editing experience is an asset.
  • Punctual, organized and professional.
  • Good command of English is required; French is an asset.

High School Diploma
Minimal or No Related Experience

Hourly Salary:
(AMUSE A) $17.00
