$27.56 (contract currently in negotiation)

$27.56 - $31.66

Position Overview

The Office Assistant II role provides comprehensive, high-level administrative support to the Development, Planning, & Public Works Department. Operating either independently or as part of a collaborative team, the assistant will streamline daily department operations by managing complex administrative tasks, department projects and initiatives, and handling essential documentation. As a primary point of contact, the assistant will deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate department information and referrals to the public.

Required Qualifications

The skills and knowledge required for this role are generally acquired through a high school diploma (or equivalent) paired with at least four (4) years of progressive administrative or general office experience. Prior municipal experience within a planning or public works department is highly preferred.
