Job Description
Job Title: Office Assistant
Location: London, United Kingdom

We are looking to secure the services of an experienced and motivated Office Assistant to support the smooth and efficient operation of our Linxon UK offices. This role is essential in enabling our teams to work effectively by providing high-quality administrative, onboarding, and office coordination support.
You will be part of the Linxon Business Support function, working closely with the Office Manager and wider UK team. As our Office Assistant, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple activities simultaneously, and contributing to the overall employee experience across our UK locations.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the office operates efficiently, supporting new starters, managing supplies, and serving as a key point of contact for day-to-day office requirements.
What will you do?
Administrative & Office Coordination
- Act as the central point of contact for team queries, redirecting as required.
- Ensure the Linxon offices operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage office supplies, stock levels, business cards, branding items, and sundry materials.
- Manage post, deliveries, and outgoing mail.
- Maintain accurate records including asset registers (IT equipment and mobiles).

Onboarding & Offboarding
- Support the full onboarding process for new starters, including laptop/IT setup, equipment allocation, email list updates, leave management updates, and drafting announcements.
- Deliver office and workplace inductions.
- Manage offboarding including retrieval of equipment, updating systems, and cancelling company credit cards.
Business Support Activities
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and act as local point of contact for the UK offices.
- Maintain competency databases and collate DBS / Right to Work documentation.
- Provide administrative support as required to the Office Manager and wider Linxon teams.
- Support with project administration where needed.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative or office-support role.
- Strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Excellent IT literacy (including MS Office; Oracle experience preferred).
- Ability to work independently, manage workload and prioritise effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
