The Talent Collective are working with a spin out Cambridge University Start up, looking for an exceptional graduate or early-career professional to join as an Office Associate.
This isn't a typical Office Associate role, we're looking for someone who has what it takes to work and help build an early stage startup. There won't be a specific list of duties, instead you'll get involved in every aspect that helps an office run successfully from onboarding new starters to running company events.
There will be real opportunities to progress in this company, a career path could develop within operations or HR long term.
About You

- Some experience in office management, procurement, HR would be highly desirable
- Curious and eager to learn

- Analytical and commercially minded

What You'll Do
- Office space planning, supporting with arranging desks and equipment for new hires and general support with other facilities management
- Managing incoming deliveries, including tracking and maintaining accurate records.
- Preparing meeting rooms, materials and documentation for meetings.
- Planning and coordinating company events and maintaining the company events calendar.
- Using Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace confidently to manage documents, emails, calendars and spreadsheets.
- Support with HR systems, especially onboarding
- Supporting the administration of procurement activities and systems, including purchase orders and supplier lists.
- Maintaining accurate and well-organised office records and documentation, including digitising of paper correspondence.
- Providing general administrative support across the business as required.

£30,000 - £35,000
Location
Based onsite in Cambridge (5 days per week)
