Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for an Office Cleaner on a part-time basis to join our Hygiene team on-site in Billingham.
What You'll Be Responsible For
As an Office Cleaner, you will:
- Carry out scheduled daily cleaning activities across designated areas
- Work across production, peripheral, and external areas when required
- Follow the “clean as you go” policy
- Maintain excellent standards of personal hygiene
- Complete chemical dosing activities correctly and safely
- Ensure cleaning records and associated paperwork are completed accurately
- Support all functions with effective waste management activities
- Assist with day-to-day operations
- Provide support to colleagues when required
The role is on a part-time, 20 hours per week basis.
What Experience You'll Need To Have
- IOSH Working Safely qualification, together with a good understanding of hygiene and cleaning processes, including chemical handling, chemical dosing, and COSHH requirements
- Good computer skills, particularly across Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to complete records accurately and maintain attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads, follow safe working practices, and work effectively under pressure
- Good knowledge of GMP and food manufacturing hygiene standards, with Food Safety Level 2 certification being advantageous
- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
