The Recipe

To safely undertake a variety of routine hygiene activities across a manufacturing facility with particular focus on the office and amenities, enabling Warburtons to produce and deliver unbeatable quality products.

Key Accountabilities and Measures

Safety

  • Takes responsibility for putting safety first and always behaves in a manner to ensure their own safety and that of others.
  • Safely handle, store and use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with site procedures and COSHH requirements.
  • Personally Comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environment and Food Safety standards with a view that anything unsafe witnessed or experienced is reported.

Hygiene and Housekeeping

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping across welfare facilities, including toilets, washrooms, changing areas, canteens, meeting rooms and communal spaces.
  • Follows routine hygiene schedule for specific pieces of equipment to deliver company standards.
  • Maintains and reports on stock levels of key consumables.
  • Ensure welfare and amenity areas are clean, tidy, hygienic and presentable for employees, visitors, customers and auditors.
  • Support factory general cleaning activities on an adhoc basis.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a workplace that is safe, welcoming and professional.
  • Support site-wide housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, organised and professional manufacturing environment.
  • Identify and report maintenance, hygiene, safety or facility-related issues to the appropriate teams.
