Purpose of role
The Office & Finance Specialist is responsible for the accurate processing of financial, office and customer sales support administration. Please note that this role is offered initially on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Monitor sales visits and execute actions from visit reports.
- Ensure confirmations correspond with sales plans and contracts.
- Manage customer specific information.
- Communicate with customers concerning sales confirmation/sales plan/contract.
- Ensure sales plan is updated at request of sales team.
- Registration and coordination of complaints, returns and samples.
- Purchase Ledger administration.
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payment Processing
- Finance administration and reporting.
- Month End processing.
- Purchase administration.
- Stock administration.
- HMRC Tax Reporting
- VAT Submissions
- Year End processing

About you
- AAT Level 3 or above (Essential)
- 2 Years experience in Finance.
- Experience with current MS Office Applications.
- Experience with JDE is advantageous.
- Organised and logical approach to work in a sometimes fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, flexible, and confident
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to communicate at all levels effectively and build good interpersonal relationships with internal and external customers.
- Accepts changes and consequently challenges positively.
- Experience in processing month end/year end accounts.
- Experience in HMRC Tax reporting (VAT, Corporation Tax etc)
