Office IT Support Technician | macOS, Google Workspace, MDM | Android-First Mobile Tech Scale-Up in East London

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + discretionary bonus
Location: East London office, 4 days a week

I'm working with an Android-first mobile tech scale-up in East London who need an Office IT Support Technician to be the go-to person for IT in their London office. You'll look after laptops, docks, monitors, printers, Wi-Fi and the meeting room AV, and you'll run onboarding and offboarding for new starters, which mostly lands on Mondays as the business keeps hiring.

You'll sit in the CloudOps team and work day to day alongside their IT Automation Engineer. The hiring manager is clear that personality matters here: they want someone friendly and proactive, who notices when something is about to go wrong and fixes it before anyone has to ask twice.

What They're Looking For (Non-Negotiables)

  • IT support or service desk: hands-on experience, or a relevant qualification
  • End-user device troubleshooting across laptops and mobiles
  • Office tech: Wi-Fi, meeting room AV, printers, docking stations
  • Google Workspace administration
  • Communication: explaining tech simply to non-technical colleagues
  • Organisation: juggling competing requests and following through
  • Commutable to East London 4 days a week

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join / Projects

  • You'll be the person the whole London office relies on for IT, which means a lot of ownership and visibility early in your career.
  • You'll have a clear path into IT automation or CloudOps. In their words, they want someone who will outgrow the reactive parts of this role and help automate them away.
  • You'll pick up scripting and tooling from the IT Automation Engineer you work alongside every day.
  • An office move is coming up, so you'll get stuck into the AV, cabling and kit on a proper project.
  • You'll also support colleagues in the EU and US remotely, working with local ops on hardware and onboarding.
