Office Manager | Design Practice

Central London | Full-time | Office-based

We are working with a globally recognised design practice to recruit an experienced, highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join their Central London team.

This is a varied and hands-on role for someone who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment and understands the pace, standards and discretion required to support senior leadership within an international design business.

The Role

The Office Manager will play a central role in keeping the London studio running smoothly, while providing high-level support to the Managing Director and working closely with the HR team.

You will also work directly with the CEO for several days each week, providing trusted administrative and organisational support and helping to ensure priorities are managed effectively.

The role will suit someone who is confident working across office management, executive support, travel, marketing and research, with a genuine understanding or appreciation of the design industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management and smooth running of the Central London office
  • Supporting the Managing Director with diary management, administration and general executive support
  • Working closely with the CEO several days each week
  • Managing complex domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Organising flights, accommodation, itineraries and detailed travel schedules
  • Managing visa requirements and international travel documentation
  • Working closely with the HR team on people-related administration and office matters including annual leave
  • Supporting the production of marketing presentations, packs and company materials
  • Using Adobe Creative Suite confidently for basic document and presentation preparation
  • Conducting market research and gathering information to support business development and marketing activity
  • Assisting with meetings, events and office initiatives
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Maintaining a polished, professional and welcoming open-plan studio environment
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with complete discretion

About You

We are looking for someone with proven experience within a design, architecture, interiors, creative or similarly design-led environment. Industry experience is essential for this position.

You will ideally have:

  • Strong Office Management and/or Executive Assistant experience
  • Previous experience supporting senior leadership, ideally a CEO or MD
  • Excellent international travel booking experience
  • Strong knowledge of visas and international travel requirements
  • Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly for presentations and marketing materials
  • Experience creating or supporting the production of marketing packs
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with an ability to conduct market research independently
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • The confidence and maturity to work with senior stakeholders
  • A genuine interest in design and the creative industries

The Environment

You will be joining a global design practice with an international outlook and a collaborative, creative culture. The London studio is an open-plan, Central London office, and this is a full-time, office-based position.
