We are looking to appoint an organised and proactive Office Manager to support the effective day-to-day operation of our Water North regional office. You will help ensure the office is safe, professional, welcoming, and well organised for employees, customers, partners, and visitors.

As the office manager, you will be reporting to the Regional Director. You will be the main point of coordination for facilities, workplace arrangements, visitors, meetings, and general office administration. Working closely with our Property and Facilities Management, IT, SHE, Finance, and Procurement teams, you will resolve issues promptly and help the office operate as an effective collaboration hub for the region.

Key Duties

  • Coordinate the daily operation of the office, including access passes, keys, parking, desks, meeting rooms, shared areas, supplies, and local office information.
  • Maintain clear safety, security, access, and emergency arrangements; coordinate office inductions and support workplace inspections and resulting actions.
  • Arrange meeting rooms, refreshments, visitor access, and practical support for leadership meetings, workshops, employee events, and important customer or partner visits.
  • Log and progress facilities and technology issues, coordinating cleaning, maintenance, repairs, printers, meeting-room equipment, and other shared services with the relevant support teams.
  • Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and monitor routine office expenditure, while gathering feedback and progressing practical improvements to the workplace.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
