Henley Primary School / Helmingham Primary School and Nursery

Salary:
£13.86 per hour

Hours:
8.15am – 3.30pm with 30-minute unpaid lunch, 5 days per week, 39 weeks per year

Permanent, required to start as soon as possible

The Consortium Trust requires an experienced, dedicated, professional, and motivated Office Manager who can work effectively with the partnership schools and central team to deliver a high-quality administration and finance provision.

This role is ideal for an experienced Office Manager who wishes to join our two friendly primary schools, both dedicated to meeting the needs of our pupils and their families. Experience of working within a school administration role is important.

The Consortium Trust demonstrates and implements safeguarding protocols in all aspects of their working practices and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, and this will include social media checks.


Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of cash handling, banking, and financial procedures
  • A good knowledge of general office procedures
  • The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Strong organisation skills
  • The ability to manage and prioritise workload to promptly meet deadlines
  • The ability to be adaptable, discreet, and maintain confidentiality
  • The ability to remain calm and cheerful under pressure in a busy environment
  • The ability to be first point of call for visitors and telephone enquiries
  • Willingness to travel to other school sites as required
  • An awareness of Safeguarding and school reporting systems
  • The ability to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines.

Desirable but not essential requirements:

  • Experience with online school management systems (such as Arbor, Every HR, and EduPay)
  • Knowledge of school-based software
  • Experience of working in a school/nursery environment
  • Experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Grade C/4+ Numeracy and Literacy (or equivalent)
  • Strong IT skills, with knowledge of Excel spreadsheets

Desirable

  • Relevant Level 3 qualifications
