An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to join a well-established and respected engineering business based in Liverpool. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions across a range of sectors, our client is seeking a proactive professional who can oversee the day-to-day running of the office, support senior management, and ensure operational excellence across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Office Manager looking to join a thriving organisation where their contribution will have a direct impact on business success.
Your new role
The position is being offered full time Monday to Friday and is fully office-based. Some of your duties will include but not limited to:
- Manage the smooth day-to-day operation of the office environment.
- Oversee administrative processes and implement efficiencies where appropriate.
- Support the senior leadership team with administrative and organisational requirements.
- Manage office budgets, supplier contracts, and purchasing activities.
- Coordinate facilities management, health & safety compliance, and office maintenance.
- Lead and support administrative staff, ensuring high standards of performance.
- Organise meetings, events, travel arrangements, and company communications.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Assist with HR administration, onboarding, and employee records where required.

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Operations Coordinator, or Senior Administrator position.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and business management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to supporting business operations.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction, or a technical environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
