Downey Osborne is partnering with a well-established accountancy firm to recruit an Office Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to oversee the smooth running of the office, supporting daily operations, administration, finance processes, and compliance requirements.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient office procedures, providing support to internal teams, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for clients and colleagues.

About You
- Previous experience in office management, administration, or a similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional and approachable manner
- Confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About Your New Role
Always
- Manage day-to-day office operations and administration.
- Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors.
- Handle calls, correspondence, and general enquiries.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation.
- Support internal teams with administrative requirements.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained across all processes.
Often
- Manage office supplies, facilities, and supplier relationships.
- Support finance administration, including invoicing, payments, and record keeping.
- Assist with credit control processes and monitoring outstanding balances.
- Prepare reports and updates for internal teams.
- Maintain client information and support database updates.
- Assist with recruitment administration and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate meetings, diaries, and office requirements.
- Process staff holiday requests and maintain records.

Occasionally
- Support GDPR and data protection processes.
- Assist with compliance requirements, including AML procedures.
