Workplace Team Leader

Location: Nottingham and Lincoln offices

37 hours per week | 07:00–19:00 | Reporting to the Workplace Regional Manager

This is more than a day-to-day Workplace role.

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on leader to take ownership of Workplace operations across our locations, bringing together front of house, building services, print/post and reprographics to deliver an outstanding experience for our people, clients and visitors.

What you will be doing:

You’ll be the person making sure the workplace is safe, seamless, professional and ready to perform.

You’ll:

  • Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary Workplace team
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients, visitors and colleagues
  • Manage contractors, suppliers and SLAs, driving performance and value
  • Own OPEX and CAPEX budgets, including forecasting and financial control
  • Lead projects, moves and workplace change from start to finish
  • Oversee reception, post room, meeting spaces, catering, security and cleaning
  • Take ownership of Health & Safety, compliance and business continuity
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk and increase efficiency
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to turn strategy into real operational results

What you will need:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing Workplace/Facilities operations in a similar environment — professional services is essential.
  • Strong Workplace Management experience within a commercial building.
  • Experience managing Front of House operations, ideally within professional services.
  • Experience leading and managing teams, including a multi-disciplinary operation.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety, statutory compliance and risk assessments.
  • Experience managing budgets (OPEX/CAPEX) and financial control.
  • Strong supplier and contractor management experience, including SLAs and performance.
  • Experience delivering projects, change and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage multiple things at once.
  • A hands-on, proactive “can-do” attitude — someone who will get involved operationally rather than just manage from a distance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and dealing with issues quickly.
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 / Teams skills.
