Office Manager

Location: Dunstable
Salary: Up to £45,000, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Sector: Administration

About the Role

A successful construction business needs more than effective administration; it needs someone who can bring organisation, consistency, and structure to a busy working environment.

As Office Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the head office, working closely with the COO and providing support across the wider business. You’ll play a key role in connecting head office with construction sites, senior management, and external contacts, ensuring information is communicated clearly and important actions, records, and deadlines are kept on track.

This is a hands-on position where you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, improve processes, and make a genuine difference to the way the business operates.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary of up to £45,000, dependent on experience.
  • A permanent, full-time position with responsibility for the effective running of the head office.
  • Regular interaction with the COO and senior leadership team, supporting key operational activities.
  • A broad and varied role covering administration, construction operations, compliance, HR, and procurement support.
  • The opportunity to develop and improve existing systems, processes, and working practices.
  • A central role within a growing construction company, helping to keep teams, information, and operations connected.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
