Cusack is a leading nationwide supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), hand tools, consumables, first aid, and road traffic management products serving the utility, construction, road, and rail industries. The company employs over 210 skilled team members and operates five depots in London, the Midlands, Somerset, Scotland, and Bolton, maintaining significant stock levels to support reliable nationwide delivery. With in-house sign manufacturing and embroidery services, P.F. Cusack offers cost-efficient, fully customized products with fast turnaround times. The organization focuses on combining technical industry expertise with professional, responsive, and friendly service at competitive prices. P.F. Cusack is the sister company of Jafco Tools Ltd, the last English manufacturer of insulated hand tools that surpass the BS8020 standard.

The Office Manager role at P.F. Cusack is a full-time, on-site position based in Glasgow. The Office Manager will oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing administrative processes, coordinating schedules, and maintaining office supplies and equipment. This role will support internal teams by organizing documentation, managing incoming calls and emails, and ensuring efficient workflow across departments. The Office Manager will liaise with customers and suppliers, assist with order processing, and help resolve queries in a timely and professional manner. The position also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting health and safety compliance, and contributing to a positive, organized, and service-focused office environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Experience in administrative assistance and office administration, including organizing files, handling correspondence, and supporting daily office tasks.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and standard office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets, and CRM systems).
  • Customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Previous experience in an office management or administrative role, ideally within distribution, logistics, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and reliability in meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work on-site in Glasgow and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Relevant vocational training or a qualification in business administration or a related field is beneficial.
