HAIL Partners is supporting a boutique venture capital firm in central London, who are looking for an Office Manager to join their close-knit, high-performing team. It's a warm, non-hierarchical culture where you'll be given real ownership. The team get on very well and with it being a smaller office, you feel very close to the action.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Office Manager role with a clear scope, covering everything needed to keep a lovely, well-run office ticking day to day. You'd own the office and facilities function end to end, be the go-to person for IT (outsourced), and take pride in being a culture carrier for the team. There's also a meaningful HR admin element, working closely with the Head of Finance.

Day to day includes:

  • Full day-to-day running of the office, including building management and the relationship with the landlord
  • Managing all office contracts and vendors
  • Owning IT infrastructure liaison, flagging and resolving issues proactively with the outsourced provider
  • Managing the meeting room booking system and standard AV set-up
  • Onboarding and offboarding, both for new starters and around the office itself
  • Running the HRIS system - holiday tracking, onboarding/offboarding admin, performance review cycle support, and benefits administration (full training provided)
  • Basic HR admin, including standard employment contracts
  • Reviewing and improving office processes and systems, with a genuine appetite for exploring where AI and automation could help
  • Organising quarterly team socials and helping shape a great day-to-day working environment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
