Company Description

Kosher Scotland provides Jewish travelers with the opportunity to experience Scotland’s renowned culture, heritage, and natural landscapes while maintaining a fully kosher lifestyle. About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our dynamic travel team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support and management - including overseeing the HR and accounts fields of the business. This position requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in various software applications, and a professional attitude towards communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team members and oversee HR to maximize efficiency
  • Manage projects and other team members' tasks and schedules
  • Regular meetings with all team members to review performance
  • Assisting with hiring new team members
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Handle incoming calls/email correspondence with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone/email etiquette.
  • Organise and maintain files, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy access to information.
  • Utilise Google Suite applications to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Support financial tasks using Xero for basic bookkeeping and invoicing.
  • Keep track of stock and inventory throughout the business

Skills

  • Proficient in computerized systems with strong knowledge of Google Suite applications.
  • Must have at least 2 years demonstrable experience working in an office manager role
  • Must have at least 5 years experience managing other employees
  • Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in administrative and clerical duties is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Xero and/or Canva is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with Project Management software a plus
  • Full driving licence
  • Exceptional phone etiquette to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
