Role Description
The Office Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in the City of Leicester. The role involves overseeing daily office operations, including managing reception duties, coordinating correspondence, and maintaining accurate records and files. The Office Manager will support school leadership with administrative tasks, schedule meetings, prepare documentation, and help ensure compliance with school policies and procedures. This position also includes managing office supplies and equipment, liaising with external partners and families, and providing professional customer service to visitors and callers. The Office Manager plays a key role in maintaining an organized, welcoming, and efficient school office environment.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with learners, families, staff, and external partners.
- Office Administration and Administrative Assistance experience, including scheduling, record-keeping, and document management.
- Competence in working with Office Equipment and basic IT systems, such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and printers.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a school setting.
- Previous experience in an educational or special education environment is beneficial.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Comfort working in a small, developing team and contributing to the creation of new processes and procedures.
- Relevant qualifications in administration or business support, or equivalent experience.
