Chambers Management is a boutique agency with a client list drawn from the competitive world of stand-up comedy. Our touring department, Chambers Touring, promotes live tours across the world, and is one of the most respected and successful promotion companies operating in the UK. Chambers Productions proudly pushes the envelope and explores new areas of the digital and streaming markets.

Based in our open plan Covent Garden offices your role would ensure company’s office provides a welcoming and efficient environment for all staff and visitors. You will also provide organisational and logistics support to the management department, as well as other departments on an ad hoc basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for all general enquiries to the Chambers team by phone and email
  • Maintenance of the Chambers office including coordinating with building facilities management and neighbouring companies, purchasing consumables & equipment, supplier liaison, and overseeing necessary repairs & refurbishment projects
  • Coordination of personnel matters in collaboration with our external HR consultant, including staff appraisals, overseeing recruitment of new staff, and work-related policies
  • Providing administrative support to the Chambers team, maintaining filing systems (physical and online), collating & sending the quarterly company mailout, and undertaking research tasks as directed
  • Maintaining and updating the company website
  • Providing administrative support to the management department, including helping with travel and logistics for TV, corporate, podcast and radio bookings, as well as with obtaining, saving and archiving footage of our clients’ various media appearances and other ad hoc tasks
  • Supporting the management department on updating our clients’ diaries
  • Ensuring a calm, organised, and positive office environment for the team to work in
  • Planning team socials, birthday lunches, networking events, and gifts for staff, clients & contacts
  • Taking minutes at team meetings, updating the diary and circulating the agenda
  • Providing ad hoc PA support to our high-profile clients as required
  • Providing ad hoc support to our productions team, on podcast recordings and stand-up specials, as well as with social media content approvals
  • Providing cover during annual leave for the management and productions departments

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel
  • Confidence with basic bookkeeping and working understanding of VAT
  • Excellent diary management and scheduling skills
  • Ability to work on a variety of different projects simultaneously while maintaining routine duties
  • Calm manner and ability to think clearly in time-pressured situations
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Discreet and trustworthy
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends and take phone calls out of office hours
  • Willingness to attend shows in evenings to support clients
  • An understanding of basic tour production (desirable)
  • Experience working with theatres and live concert venues (desirable)
  • Basic proficiency with image and video editing software (desirable)
