Office Manager – Specsavers Home Visits

Location: Brentwood, Essex
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Looking for More Than Just Another Management Job?

At Specsavers Home Visits, we provide essential eye care to people who are unable to visit a traditional store — often supporting elderly, vulnerable, or housebound customers in their own homes and care settings.

We’re looking for an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to lead our office team and help us continue delivering an outstanding service across Essex.

This is a busy, varied role where you’ll have real responsibility, work closely with the Directors, and have the opportunity to influence how the business operates and grows.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the office team of 3 people
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, clinic diaries, and scheduling
  • Coach colleagues and carry out regular 1-2-1s and performance reviews
  • Ensure customers receive an excellent, compassionate service
  • Manage workloads, priorities, and changing situations effectively
  • Use KPIs and business information to improve performance and efficiency
  • Handle customer queries and complaints
  • Maintain high standards of administration and compliance
  • Work with the Directors to identify improvements and growth opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
