In this 12-month fixed-term, full-time, office-based contract, covering a parental leave role that operates within a role-share arrangement alongside a part-time Office Manager.

As the Office Manager/Executive Assistant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office while delivering high-level executive support. This position requires exceptional organisational skills, sound judgment, and strong leadership capabilities. You will oversee office operations, lead a business support team, and act as a trusted partner to senior executives, fostering a professional and collaborative environment that supports organisational success.

About the Role

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including facilities, suppliers, budgets, procurement, safety, and workplace services.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the business support team to ensure effective workload allocation, capability development, and strong performance outcomes.
  • Provide high-level executive support, including complex diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and preparation of key documents.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvement, best-practice implementation, accurate records, policies, and compliance documentation.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for senior executives and supporting effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative office culture through employee engagement, office-wide initiatives, events, onboarding, and workplace health and safety processes.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Office Manager and supporting C-suite or senior leaders.
  • Proven experience managing or leading a team.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Experience coordinating complex travel, meetings, and events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business productivity tools.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to adjust hours when necessary to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrates effective teamwork and individual responsibility, balancing collaboration and independent tasks.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to delivering excellence in all tasks.
