Office Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Location: Manchester City Centre | Office Based
Contract: Permanent

We're working with a growing and ambitious business in Manchester that is looking to appoint an experienced Office Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the office and provide wider operational support.
This is a varied role suited to an organised and proactive individual who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and being the person who keeps everything running smoothly.

The Role

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the office
  • Manage office facilities, suppliers and external contractors
  • Coordinate office processes and ensure the workplace operates efficiently
  • Support the onboarding and induction of new employees
  • Maintain office documentation, records and internal processes
  • Provide administrative and operational support to senior management
  • Coordinate meetings, events and internal activities
  • Support HR and people-related administration
  • Manage office expenditure, invoices and general purchasing
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
  • Act as a key point of contact for office and operational queries
  • Support the business with ad hoc projects as required

About You

  • Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar role
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple priorities independently
  • Proactive and comfortable taking ownership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and confident when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
