MTEK Ltd is looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Office Manager to join our team.
This is a varied and important role for someone who enjoys keeping an office running smoothly, is confident dealing with people and suppliers, and has solid accounts experience, including Xero.
Experience within a contract manufacturing environment would be highly desirable, as the successful candidate will need to understand the pace, processes and commercial requirements of a manufacturing business.
The role will include:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the office
- Handling general administration and supporting the wider team
- Managing invoices, purchase and sales ledgers and payments
- Assisting with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
- Using Xero for day-to-day accounts tasks
- Preparing regular financial and operational reports
- Preparing reports and updates for company shareholders
- Providing management information to support business decisions
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors
- Monitoring office supplies and company requirements
- Assisting with payroll, expenses and other financial administration
- Supporting the management team with day-to-day business activities
- Ensuring the office remains organised, efficient and professional

About you:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Confident and professional when communicating with customers, suppliers and shareholders
- Competent with Xero and general accounts/bookkeeping
- Experienced in office administration or office management
- Experienced in, or familiar with, a contract manufacturing environment
- Comfortable producing financial and management reports
- Commercially aware with a good understanding of business finances
- Reliable, approachable and proactive
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility
- Confident using Microsoft Office and other business software
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and commercial information

Previous experience in a similar Office Manager / Accounts Administrator / Office & Accounts role within contract manufacturing, manufacturing or a similar SME environment would be highly desirable.
