Cathedral Appointments is recruiting on behalf of a growing international business for an ambitious and highly organised Office Manager to join their Exeter Head Office. This is a central, hands-on role, taking ownership of the effective day-to-day running of the office and the delivery of high-quality business administration across the organisation.
The Role
The Office Manager will have a broad remit spanning facilities and suppliers, business travel, meetings and events, company property and vehicles, and contracts and subscriptions, ensuring essential operational and administrative requirements are managed efficiently and to a consistently high standard. This role would suit someone highly organised, proactive and solution-focused, who is comfortable managing competing priorities and enjoys taking ownership through to completion.
Responsibilities for the Office Manager
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running, organisation and professional presentation of the UK Head Office, acting as the main point of contact for office-related enquiries
- Manage office supplies, post, deliveries, catering, access passes and visitor arrangements, and liaise with landlords, managing agents and contractors on maintenance and facilities requirements
- Deliver general administrative support across the business, including preparing documents, reports and presentations, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate trackers and records
- Arrange all domestic and international business travel, including flights, accommodation and transfers, preparing accurate itineraries and maintaining traveller profiles
- Coordinate practical arrangements for internal, Board, Executive, client and external meetings, and support the company's attendance at exhibitions, conferences and corporate events
- Manage company property, contracts and vehicle administration, including maintaining central registers of assets, leases, insurance policies, subscriptions and renewal dates

Requirements for the Office Manager
- Previous experience in office management is essential.
- Experience supporting office operations, facilities, suppliers and business travel
- Strong administrative, organisational and record-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, with confidence using booking and administrative systems
- Professional, approachable and confident when dealing with employees, executives and external stakeholders

Benefits
- Salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience
