Description

The Office Manager provides the administrative backbone of the business, supporting the Business Operations Director and wider leadership team with the effective coordination of HR administration, compliance activities, quality management documentation, health & safety processes, training administration, and general office operations.

This role is responsible for ensuring business-critical records, systems, and processes remain accurate, efficient, and compliant, enabling senior leaders to focus on operational and strategic priorities.


About the Role

Horizon Specialist Contracting Ltd is looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to support the smooth and efficient running of our business operations. Working closely with the Business Operations Director and wider leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating a broad range of administrative activities across HR, compliance, health & safety, quality management, training, and office operations.

What You Will Bring

We're looking for someone who combines exceptional organisational skills with a proactive approach and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Business Support, Operations Administration, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting HR administration, recruitment coordination, employee records, and onboarding activities.
  • Working knowledge of compliance, quality management systems, health & safety administration, or regulated business processes.
  • Experience maintaining documentation, reports, trackers, and business records with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence drafting correspondence, preparing documentation, and taking meeting minutes.
  • Excellent IT skills and confidence using spreadsheets, databases, business systems, and client compliance portals.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • A positive, professional, and collaborative approach to supporting colleagues across the business.
