ABOUT THE ROLE
As our part time Office Manager, you'll make sure our Farringdon office runs smoothly, day in and day out - looking after our team, and making sure Sing King feels like a great place to come to work every day.
You’ll be the go-to person for everything happening in our Farringdon office - from handling the daily rhythm of requests, deliveries, and visitors, to making sure our space is well-stocked, tidy, and welcoming for the whole team.
Beyond the everyday, you’ll take ownership of the bigger-picture tasks that keep the office running - liaising with suppliers and our building managers, supporting new starters and leavers, and helping to shape a safe, well-organised, and positive place to work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Keep the office running day to day - responding to office-related requests, restocking kitchen and snack supplies, handling deliveries, and keeping communal areas and meeting rooms tidy and well organised
- Be the first point of contact for visitors and facilities - managing intercom/access, resolving meeting room booking conflicts, and flagging any building, AC, Wi-Fi or equipment issues
- Support onboarding and offboarding - setting up desks, equipment, access and accounts for new starters, and managing equipment returns and access removal for leavers
- Manage supplier and building relationships - ordering office supplies, liaising with the landlord and building management, and checking in with cleaning and internet suppliers
- Handle office admin and compliance - reviewing and directing invoices, keeping on top of health & safety compliance (fire extinguishers, first aid stock), and managing software/subscription renewals
- Contribute to office culture and experience - planning team lunches and socials, coordinating birthday/anniversary recognitions, and optimising the office space to keep Sing King a great place to work
- From time to time, you'll also support with light admin/PA tasks - researching and booking travel and accommodation for events, along with occasional calendar and meeting management, as needed

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
