About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join our growing school
Thomas Telford Primary Free School is a brand-new primary school that joined the Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust (TTMAT) in September 2025. As a growing school, we are building an ambitious, welcoming and inclusive community where children are supported to thrive academically, socially and personally. TTMAT has a proven track record of educational excellence and is recognised nationally for its commitment to high-quality education and continuous improvement. In June 2024, Redhill Primary Academy was awarded Ofsted’s highest accolade, being rated Outstanding in all areas of the inspection framework. Inspectors recognised that pupils thrive academically, personally and socially. We are committed to achieving the same high standards at Thomas Telford Primary Free School and are looking for an exceptional individual to play an important role in our continued development.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic Office Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team. The Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school office. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
