River View Primary and Nursery School

The Governing Body wishes to appoint a dynamic and committed School Office Manager to provide comprehensive support for the Headteacher.

Fixed term contract for 9 months

Hours per week: 32.5

Grade 6 Salary: actual salary £24,914, term time only

We are a friendly team who work together to make our community ‘RICHER’.

The role requires flexibility and problem solving on a daily basis; it is essential that you are professional, presentable, and an effective communicator.

We are looking for someone who can offer the following:

  • Work in a professional and responsible way.
  • Communicate well with all of our school community.
  • Ability to prioritize your workload to meet deadlines.
  • Good standard of written English including spelling and grammar, and basic arithmetic skills.
  • Good ICT skills including use of Word and Excel.
  • Understand the importance of data protection and safeguarding in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety.
  • Able to write risk assessments.
  • Able to communicate to other agencies, for example, builders.
