Office Manager – Construction, Tiverton

£30,000

We are working with a well-established and growing construction business based in Tiverton, who are looking to appoint an experienced Office Manager to join their team.

This is a hands-on role within a small, friendly office environment, where you will take responsibility for the smooth running of the day-to-day administration and coordination of the construction business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day office administration and coordination
  • Preparing and sending customer invoices
  • Prepare the relevant CIS & payslip data in conjunction with accountant
  • Carrying out general accounts and finance administration
  • Using Xero for invoicing and related financial tasks
  • Liaising with clients, trades, subcontractors and the wider supply chain
  • Coordinating information and documentation between the office and site teams
  • Managing general correspondence, records and administrative systems
  • Supporting the smooth running of the company's construction and scaffolding operations
  • To Resolve IT issues arising
  • Complete our routine in-house marketing processes
  • Using Microsoft 365 across day-to-day administrative duties
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider business as required

The Successful Candidate Will Ideally Have

  • Extensive administration experience is essential, ideally as an Office Manager or Senior Administrator.
  • Previous experience within the construction industry would be highly advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of Xero
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills
  • Experience with invoicing and general accounts administration
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The confidence to liaise with clients, trades and suppliers
  • A proactive, practical approach and the ability to work independently
  • A full driving licence
