We’re hiring an exceptional Office Manager & People Operations Assistant to take ownership of a fast-paced, 16,500 sq ft Shoreditch HQ.
This is a highly hands-on role for someone who takes genuine pride in creating a brilliant workplace. You’ll oversee everything from facilities, contractors and office projects to onboarding, team culture and the day-to-day guest experience.
You’ll be the person who spots what needs doing and gets it done - whether that means coordinating a contractor, setting up a new starter, organising a team event, assembling furniture or making sure the office is immaculate ahead of an important meeting.
The role
You’ll take ownership of:
- Running the day-to-day operations of a large Shoreditch office, ensuring the space is always pristine, functional and guest-ready.
- Managing facilities, maintenance, repairs, cleaners, contractors, suppliers and building management.
- Supporting office fit-outs, renovations and improvement projects from initial brief through to completion.
- Getting hands-on when needed — assembling furniture, mounting shelves, painting, unpacking deliveries and fixing smaller issues.
- Owning the new joiner experience, including desks, equipment, accounts, onboarding schedules and welcome packs.
- Supporting wider People Operations, maintaining employee documentation and helping improve processes as the team grows.
- Managing reception and creating an exceptional experience for guests, investors, partners and visitors.
- Organising team lunches, dinners, socials, offsites, birthdays, celebrations and company events.
- Managing office suppliers, invoices, stock and spend.
- Maintaining clear processes and systems in Notion so nothing falls through the cracks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
