Office Manager / Reading & London
We are seeking an organised, proactive and people-focused Office Manager to join a busy, fast-growing property business with offices in Reading and Central London.
This role is based in Reading 2 days a week, with travel into the London office 2 days a week (travel costs covered), with 1 day remote.
As Office Manager, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and colleagues, ensuring the office is welcoming, professional and well organised at all times. The senior leadership team will need support with booking meeting rooms, diary management around travel, industry events and conferences they will be attending.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate internal events, company conferences, off-sites and team-building activities.
- Manage event logistics, suppliers, venues, schedules and budgets.
- Support employee engagement, internal communications and company-wide celebrations.
- Assist with onboarding and day-to-day HR queries.
- Oversee office operations, supplies, equipment, post and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organised and inclusive office environment.
- Support health and safety processes across office locations (fire marshall).
- Work closely with the People and Culture team to strengthen company values and culture.

About you:
- Previous experience in Office Management, Events Coordination, Workplace Experience or a similar role.
- Confident planning and delivering internal events, team socials, off-sites, conferences or company-wide gatherings.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, suppliers and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional approach.
- Comfortable using MS Office and working with systems to keep everything running smoothly.
- Experience supporting employee engagement, culture initiatives or HR processes would be highly desirable.
