Office and Operations Administrator | Up to £26,500 | Harrogate

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join a busy manufacturing site, supporting both the Production Team and wider office operations.

This is a varied role where no two days are exactly the same. You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support to the Production Manager, help keep production data and reports up to date, manage reception and visitors, and make sure the office and wider site have everything they need to run smoothly.

The Role

We are searching for an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual that can support key departments within this growing FMCG manufacturer. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of the business and take responsibility for a mixture of production administration, reporting, reception and general office coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Production Manager and wider Production Team, including maintaining production records, databases, reports, KPIs, dashboards and operational documentation.
  • Collect, collate and analyse production data, prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations and meeting packs, support production planning, raise purchase orders and track actions from meetings.
  • Manage reception and general office administration, including answering calls and emails, welcoming visitors, managing meeting rooms, coordinating site visits and handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
  • Take responsibility for office and site supplies, including stationery, PPE, uniforms, lockers, cleaning supplies and related contracts, ensuring everything is available when needed.
  • Help maintain a professional, organised and welcoming working environment, ensuring reception, offices and meeting rooms are presentable and supporting the administration of the site's telephone system and visitor procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support across the site, taking ownership of additional tasks and projects as required to support the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

  • Previous experience in an administrative or reception-based role
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines
  • A professional and approachable manner
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
