Office Operations Manager
Location: Belfast City Centre
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 4 days office / 1 day working from home
The Opportunity
Nominate Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading City Centre based Professional services organisation to recruit an experienced Office Operations Manager.
This is a senior operational role with responsibility for the smooth, efficient and high-quality running of the Belfast office. The successful candidate will oversee a broad range of workplace, facilities and legal support services, while managing teams, budgets, suppliers and key internal and external stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Office Manager, Operations Manager or Workplace professional who thrives in a fast-paced professional services environment and is confident operating at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities
Office Operations
- Overall management and responsibility for Office Operations within the Belfast office.
- Oversee reception, client meeting rooms, video conferencing, hospitality and events.
- Manage day-to-day building and facilities management.
- Lead supplier and service contract management, including negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate internal office moves and workplace changes.
- Oversee workplace safety, security, business continuity and emergency planning.
- Manage records, mail and print room operations.
- Coordinate operational activities to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
- Ensure consistently high levels of service are delivered to clients, stakeholders and employees.
- Overall responsibility for the recruitment, retention and development of the Practice Executives and Assistants to ensure the quality and consistency of services provided to the legal team and clients is efficient, effective and meets the need of the Practice Groups

Legal Support Services
- Overall management and responsibility for Legal Support Services in Belfast.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality secretarial and administrative support.
- Lead, manage and develop the team, ensuring services are effective, efficient and aligned with business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and operational efficiency.
About You
We are seeking an experienced and confident operational leader with:

- A proven track record working as an Office Manager, Operations Manager or in a similar senior role, ideally within a fast-paced professional services environment.
- Previous experience leading, managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven experience negotiating and managing service contracts and suppliers.
- Strong facilities, workplace and office operations experience.
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to communicate with senior stakeholders with clarity, energy, confidence and enthusiasm.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen and strong financial management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to service excellence.
