Office Services Assistant
Salary: £19,232.63 per annum (£26,227.50 FTE), plus company benefits
Location: Newcastle, NE1 6QF
Contract: Part Time, Permanent
Shifts: 27.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 11am until 5pm with 30 minutes unpaid break
Work model: Fully onsite
Williams Lea seeks an Office Services Assistant to join our team!

Purpose of role
The primary focus of the Office Services Assistant will be to deal with requests which come into the Office Services team. The role of the Office Services Assistant is a key position on the DAC Beachcroft Williams Lea account reporting to the Office Manager, the main task of the role includes:
- Collection and opening of post within SLA
- Reprographics
- Special and Recorded Post processing
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring that the post deadlines are kept too
- Reprographics, manual and via DocBuster
- General maintenance of general office equipment
- Assisting with moving and transportation of boxes around the office
- Provide data and report any issues to Office Manager when required

Personal attributes
- Strong administration skills and fully conversant with Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
- Ability to operate at all levels within the organisation
- Good communication skills
- Confident and with a professional, business-like manner
- Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy and delivering against timescales
- Team player, consistently in tune with the aims and objectives of the business
- Excellent time management and Organisational skills
- Ability to carry out delegated functions/tasks/projects
- High level of confidentiality in management of staff
- Able to meet deadlines and priorities tasks
- An understanding of an employer’s statutory and 'best practice’ Health & Safety requirement
